So Many Choices - A List Of Activities

.) Draw a picture or paint, the more you do this the better you get at it. Try to challenge yourself.

.) Start reading a new book. Try to pick books by reading the first chapter at the store or library. This ensures that the book will keep your interest and is worth your time.

.) Go for a walk, and try to find on a new route every time if possible (keep it safe!) Parks often contain the best trails and routes near the cities. If you own a large property in the woods, make your own personal walking trail.

.) Look up something you don't know about online (I look up random things on Wikipedia.com and click random links contained in the article, keeps me occupied for a few hours sometimes!)

.) Find you a pen-pal. This practice went out of style when the internet got popular, which is odd because its nice to receive letters in the mail rather than just bills! You will find that doing this adds cultural flavor to your life, as you share new things with people outside your everyday reach.

.) Go to Instructables.com and find a project that you can do. There are many things you can build without even having to leave your house. This can be a fun website to visit with your kids.

.) Find a game you can play online, then invite your friends to challenge your score. A good website for this is addictinggames.com.

.) Start your own online blog. Many websites will let you do this for free Such as Google, Tumblr, and a few others. Try to pick a subject that you know a lot about, then share what you know about it. If done right people be asking you to keep writing.

.) Try cooking or baking something new, go online and look for recipes you've never heard of then cook, If your family likes your cooking you might be stuck making it every holiday for the rest of your life :) .

.) Look for a local event to attend. A lot of cities and towns have these listed on their website. Often times local schools host these. Community events are surefire way to meet new people and to find something new to do.
